Children First has been founded in 2002 with the aim to facilitate the sufferings of children in the developing countries and to offer them concret help for a child-oriented and worthy life.
The Humanitarian Organisation Children First is represented by the founder and chairwoman Sylvia Eibl are personally involved with straordinary energy, motivation and love for the needy children to bring with the help of volunteers and local cooperation partners the proper aid to the poor children, who live mainly in countries affected of civil war, of natural disasters or in extreme poor countries.
Children First wants to be very different to the many other Humanitarian Organisations, specially regarding the administration costs. For this reason all administration costs and travel expenses are borne by the chairwoman Sylvia Eibl personally. This means that ALL money donated flows directly into the realisation of aid programmes. This is an extremely important point and advantage, in that all the money is devoted to the benefit of the needy children without any deductions!
The following projects are in progress in a number of different countries under the personal guidance and supervision of Sylvia Eibl:
- Food Support for malnutrited children
- Purchase of medical equipments and distribution to pediatric wards of hospitals and mobil hospital wards
- Purchasing of orthopaedic and prostetic devices
- Organisation and financing of medical operations and medical treatments in place and abroad
- Constructions and implementations of social facilities like orphanages
- Financial support for needy children (orphans) and their families through the “foster child” programm (Adoption by Distance)
- Clothing and linen donations
